Summary

A RELATIONSHIP WAS DEVELOPED BETWEEN THE THERMAL AND TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF INSULATING MATERIALS AND THE MOISTURE LEVEL OF THE INSULATION OF COLD STORES, INCLUDING AFTER THE APPLICATION, FOR BIG REPAIRS, OF AN ADDITIONAL PSB-S LAYER ON THE EXTERNAL SIDE OF THE ROOM. STUDIES WERE MADE IN ORDER TO PREDICT THE CONDITION OF THE THERMAL INSULATION OF COLD STORES IN OPERATION AND TO TEST THE EFFICIENCY OF THE RECOVERY OF THEIR THERMAL AND TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS WITH THE PROCEDURE DESCRIBED.
