Summary
An experimental investigation has been conducted on critical heat flux on a horizontal tube in crossflow boiling R113 at near atmospheric pressures. An analytical modification of the Katto-Haramura critical heat flux correlation is proposed to take into account the effect of flow blockage over a wide range of blockage factors.
