Summary
By the use of the oversize wire screens, the flow leakage around the inner circumference of the tube is significantly reduced. The oversize in the wire screen is the difference between the diameter of the wire screen and the inner diameter of the tube. Heat transfer and pressure measurements were performed on three test regenerators.
