Summary

TWO VARIANTS OF MODELS RELATED TO TRANSPORT PHENOMENA OF ENERGY IN A ROTARY HEAT EXCHANGER ARE PRESENTED: ONE EXCLUDING AND THE OTHER INCLUDING LONGITUDINAL HEAT CONDUCTION IN THE MATRIX. THE SYSTEMS OF ENERGY BALANCE EQUATIONSCORRESPONDING TO THE ABOVE MODELS ARE SOLVED BY MEANS OF ANALYTICAL METHODS, AND THE RESULTS OF COMPUTATIONS ARE PLOTTED. ON THE BASIS OF THESE SOLUTIONS, THE EFFECTS OF PARAMETER VALUES ON THE GAS AND MATRIX TEMPERATURE FIELDS ARE EVALUATED.
