Summary

THE PAPER CONSIDERS THE FEATURES OF THE ISOCHORIC PROCESS OCCURRING IN THE TWO-PHASE MEDIUM ARISING DURING NON-VENTED STORAGE OF CRYOGENIC LIQUIDS. PRESENTED ARE EXAMPLES REPRESENTING VARIOUS CASES OF THE MECHANICAL STATE OF THE MEDIUM WHICH IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE CHARACTER OF PHASE TRANSITIONS AT THE LIQUID-VAPOUR INTERFACE AND DEPENDS ON THE INITIAL AND BOUNDARY CONDITIONS OF THE PROCESS. IT IS SHOWN HOW THE PHASE TRANSITIONS INFLUENCE THE MAIN CHARACTERISTICS OF HEAT TRANSFER DURING NON-VENTED STORAGE OF LIQUID CRYOGENS.
