Type of article: Article
Summary
Temperatures above 30 °C as well as the presence of important moisture loads constitute an intense energy concentration in the return air of swimming pools which is highly suitable for heat recovery. Heat recovery from return air has become, nowadays, inevitable practice for new constructions as well as for covered swimming pool upgrades. However, it is necessary to note that the effectiveness of the various heat recovery systems show distinct divergence when compared with each other, in particular with respect to the analysis of the operating conditions of each one. The equipment providing the best performance is that able to combine within the same plant all the various recovery systems perfectly selected and sized according to the project.
