Swimming pools: jump in refrigeration engineers!
A nos piscines, frigoristes !
Author(s) : RAVEAU J. C.
Type of article: Article
Summary
In France, about 25,000 swimming pools were built in 1996 and pool shelters are booming. Pool sales are moving north and shelters are developing substantially south of the Loire: where climatic conditions are favourable, they make it possible to use pools most or all of the year. Use of shelters during cooler periods requires thermodynamics, something refrigerating engineers handle well.
