Author(s) : TANASAWA I.
Type of article: Article
Summary
The unused energies referred to here involve relatively low-temperature waste heat from subway systems, power distribution substations, sewage treatment stations, waste incineration plants, power plants and factories. Also water from the sea or river used as a heat source or sink is included. Types and characteristics of available "unused energies", ways of using those energies, and other important issues relevant to the utilization of such low-grade heat sources are discussed.
