THE PAPER STUDIES THE EFFECTS OF THE CAPILLARY TUBE/SUCTION LINE HEAT EXCHANGER ON REFRIGERATING EFFECT, COP, AS WELL AS MASS FLOW RATE IN A SMALL REFRIGERATING SYSTEM. REFRIGERANT MASS FLOW RATE, REFRIGERATING EFFECT AND COMPRESSOR CONSUMED POWER WERE MEASURED AND THE COP WAS CALCULATED FOR DIFFERENT HEAT EXCHANGER LENGTHS AND LOCATIONS OF THE CAPILLARY TUBE/SUCTION LINE HEAT EXCHANGER.
