Efficient control of liquid feed to evaporators.

Author(s) : DANIG P. O.

Summary

The paper summarizes the problems related to use of thermostatic expansion valves. A new principle called LPEV is introduced. The liquid feed to the evaporator is controlled in such a way that a low recirculation of the liquid in the evaporator takes place. This gives a high heat transfer efficiency and allows wide variations in non even flow and load distribution of the evaporator.
