ELECTRICAL CONDUCTIVITY AND LATERAL FOCUSING OF CHARGE CARRIERS THROUGH A THIN NORMAL LAYER OF A N-S SUPERCONDUCTING STRUCTURE OR A FIRST-KIND SUPERCONDUCTOR INTERMEDIATE STATE ARE STUDIED, THE LAYER HAVING CURRENT LEADS AND POTENTIAL CONTACTS ON THE VACUUM SIDE. EXPERIMENTAL STUDIES OF THESE EFFECTS CAN PROVIDE VALUABLE INFORMATION BOTH ON THE N-S INTERFACE CONFIGURATION AND THE SUPERCONDUCTOR PROPERTIES.
