Summary
This paper is devoted to the present day state and future development of bulk high temperature superconducting (HTS) electrical machines. The different schematics of HTS machines of novel classes of hysteresis, reluctance, "trapped field" and composed HTS motors with output power rating 1-100 kW are presented. The future development of HTS motors and perspective fields of their application are discussed.
