Summary

THE AUTHORS SHOW THAT THE OPERATION OF CENTRAL AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEMS SOLELY FOR AIR TREATMENT AND SUPPLY WITH A MINIMUM EXTERNAL AIR VOLUME PROVIDED BY A REFRIGERATING MACHINE AND THE EXTRACTION OF SURPLUS HEAT INTO LOCAL AIR COOLERS VIA TWO-STAGE EVAPORATIVE COOLING IS ABOUT THREE TIMES MORE ENERGETICALLY EFFICIENT THAN THE REFRIGERATING MACHINES USED FOR THIS PURPOSE.
