HIGH ENERGY COSTS FOR THIS CHICAGO OFFICE COMPLEX WERE FIRST HALVED IN 1980, BY RELATIVELY SIMPLE MEASURES. PLANS FOR AN EXTENSION BUILDING THEN INITIATED A SURVEY OF ALL POSSIBLE CONSERVATION MEASURES AND THEIR VALUE ANALYSIS. 11 OF THESE MEASURES WERE PUT INTO EFFECT. RESULTING SAVINGS CAN BE ADJUSTED ON MASTER ENERGY PROGRAM FOR FUEL PRICES AND WEATHER, IN ORDER TO REACH ACCURATE COMPARISONS. A.R.T.
