IN VIEW OF THE FACT THAT VARIABLE AIR VOLUME (VAV) SYSTEMS REDUCE BOTH ENERGY CONSUMPTION AND INSTALLATION COSTS AND THAT THEY PROVIDE BETTER CONTROL OF AIR CONDITIONS IN A ROOM, MANUFACTURERS ARE NOW MARKETING COMPLETE AND MODERN ELECTRONIC CONTROLS FOR VAV SYSTEMS. THESE CONTROLS MONITOR THE TEMPERATURE OF THE SUPPLY AIR, RELATIVE HUMIDITY IN ROOMS, ENERGY RECOVERY AND PRESSURE CONTROL IN THE MAIN AND ZONE DUCTING OF VAV SYSTEMS.
