ELECTRONIC REFRIGERATION.

Author(s) : BOROJA M.

Summary

PHYSICAL PRINCIPLES OF THE ELECTRONIC REFRIGERATION OPERATION ARE OUTLINED IN THE PAPER. TWO CASES OF THE PELTIER'S EFFECT ARE CONSIDERED. IN THE FIRST CASE THERE ARE OUTLINED THE CIRCUIT ACTIVE COMPONENTS FOR WHICH POSITIVECHANGES IN VOLTAGE ARE FOLLOWED BY NEGATIVE CHANGES IN CURRENT INTENSITY, IE BY ELECTRIC RESISTANCE NEGATIVE VALUES. IN THE OTHER CASE, THE NEGATIVE ELECTRICAL RESISTANCE PHENOMENA CAUSED BY THE OPENING OF A CIRCUIT IS DESCRIBED. EXPERIMENTS HAVE BEEN MADE WITH ELECTRIC ARC, MERCURY AND MAGNETIC SWITCHES.
