THE NEW REGULATIONS CONCERNING THE THERMAL QUALITY OF NEW CONSTRUCTIONS AIM AT REDUCING THEIR ENERGY CONSUMPTION BY ABOUT 25% WITH REGARD TO THE 1976 REGULATIONS. THEY CONCERN THE THERMAL INSULATION, THE CONTROL AND PROGRAMMING OF HEATING, VENTILATING AND AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEMS. THEY ARE DIVERSIFIED ACCORDING TO THE TYPES OF BUILDINGS. THE REQUIREMENTS FOR VENTILATION AND AIRCONDITIONING ARE DESCRIBED AND DISCUSSED IN DETAIL. J.L.
