Summary
Since carbon dioxide emissions are a primary cause of global warming and they are strongly connected with energy, it is no exaggeration to say that the promotion of energy conservation is of paramount importance as a countermeasure to global warming. This paper introduces the essential points of the revised energy conservation law and an outline of the measures it contains.
