Summary

IT IS ESTABLISHED THAT DOMESTIC REFRIGERATORS AND FREEZERS ARE THE MAIN CONSUMERS OF ENERGY IN REFRIGERATING TECHNOLOGY. THIS ARTICLE GOES FURTHER INTO ENERGY CONSUMPTION AND FACTORS INFLUENCING THE LATTER. THE CONDITIONS IN WHICH A PARTICULAR PIECE OF EQUIPMENT IS USED, SUCH AS TEMPERATURE OF THE AMBIENT AIR AND SETTING OF THERMOSTAT, CONSIDERABLY INFLUENCE ITS ENERGY CONSUMPTION.
