Energy efficiency of refrigerated equipment in supermarkets.
Le rendement énergétique des équipements frigorifiques dans les supermarchés.
Author(s) : HUNDY G. F., CROMMENTUIJN L.
Type of article: Article
Summary
The paper focuses on the design of refrigeration equipment in supermarkets. The features of new scroll compressors - i.e. small capacities, less noise and particularly good efficiency - lead to decentralized systems in which each compressor is close to user needs (instead of centralized systems with a machine room and bigger compressors).
