THE AUTHOR DISCUSSES SOME OF THE FACTORS TO BE TAKEN INTO ACCOUNT IN HEAT RECOVERY SYSTEM SELECTION, AND BRIEFLY REVIEWS SOME CASE STUDIES. HE CONCLUDES THAT BENEFITS FROM THE USE OF HEAT RECOVERY EQUIPMENT CAN EXTEND BEYOND REDUCED ENERGY USAGE TO IMPROVED ENVIRONMENTS.
