Energy marking on air-conditioning units.

Summary

As of June 1, 2002 all household air-conditioning units in EU countries must carry energy labelling on the front, similar to that customarily affixed on refrigerators. This obligation applies to all units with a cooling capacity of 12 kW, i.e. those intended for use in households.
