Energy performance of heating/cooling panels in large enclosures.

Author(s) : BRUNELLO P., PERON F.

Summary

In order to assess the energy performance of large enclosures, especially when equipped with heating and cooling panels, a simulation procedure linking the thermal balance of the envelope with a detailed fluid-dynamic analysis of the room air is suggested in the paper. Different design solutions can be analysed, with respect to the thermal behaviour of the system and consequent comfort level in the occupied zone.
