Summary

IN THE FIRST PART, THE FUNCTIONAL CHARACTERISTICS OF THE COMPUTER CENTRE AND ITS USAGE ARE DESCRIBED. THE LARGE SIZE OF THE AREA DEDICATED FOR MACHINES AND THE HIGH SPECIFIC DISSIPATION POWER, TOGETHER WITH THE POSSIBILITY OF PROVIDING HEAT TO ADJACENT BUILDINGS, HAVE MADE IT POSSIBLE TO ADOPT UNITS FOR ENERGY PRODUCTION INTEGRATING DIFFERENT RECOVERY SYSTEMS. THE OPERATING MODES OF THE UNIT FOR HEAT AND REFRIGERATION PRODUCTION ARE EXAMINED, INDICATING THE ENERGY RESULTS PREDICTED. THEN, THE AUTHORS DESCRIBE THE PROGRAMMES OF AUTOMATIC MANAGEMENT CONTROLLED BY A CENTRALIZED UNIT WITH AN < INTELLIGENT > DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM.
