Summary

The classical technology of processing neon and helium concentrate is considered. The necessity of reducing the specific energy consumption for the production of light inert gases is justified. One of the reserves for reducing operating costs is to reduce the number of cycles of periodically working cryogenic adsorbers. In the process of purification of Ne-He-mixture from nitrogen, it is achieved through the process of condensation of N2 in the reflux condenser. During the separation of the waste flow stream enriched with neon, reduction of the load on the absorbers occurs due to the inclusion of a membrane module in the scheme, in which the separation of neon stream and simultaneous enrichment of the mixture with helium take place. Reduction of the cost of neon and helium will expand the scope of their use in modern technologies.
