Energy savings and variable speed: an example to be followed.
Économie d'énergie et vitesse variable : un exemple à suivre.
Author(s) : DOLL W.
Type of article: Article, Case study
Summary
Energy savings are a major issue in the refrigeration industry. The article describes potential energy savings thanks to regulation of the speed of the pump used for water chillers. With this device, energy savings can reach up to 15% tahnks to new regulation algorithms for chilled water generators allowing flow reductions of 40%.
