Summary
AN AIR HANDLING PRINCIPLE APPLIED TO THE STACK SPACE OF REFRIGERATED CARS IS MODELLED MATHEMATICALLY IN ORDER TO BE ABLE TO CALCULATE THE EFFECT OF DIFFERENT AIR DISTRIBUTION, RESULTING FROM THE LOADING AND THE STRUCTURAL DETAILS, UPON THE TEMPERATURE FIELD. THE SCATTER OF THE TEMPERATURE FIELD IS STANDARDIZED, CONSTITUTING A MEASURE FOR MATCHING THE AIR DISTRIBUTION TO THE LOCAL POWER REQUIREMENTS. BY THE USE OF THIS PARAMETER IT WAS POSSIBLE TO EVALUATE EXPERIMENTAL RESULTS.
