Author(s) : BRANDEMUEHL M., KATEJANEKARN T.

Type of monograph: Report, Guide/Handbook

Summary

This report was prepared as an account of work sponsored by ARTI under its "HVAC&R Research for the 21st Century Program". It has been established in order to develop a plan to guide the evaluation of humidity control by unitary HVAC equipment. It describes the evaluation plan, including the climates, building types, HVAC equipment options, and computer simulation program requirements. A detailed set of computer simulations to evaluate the ability of unitary HVAC equipment to address humidity control issues in generic commercial building types is provided. Extract from the table of contents: climate; building applications; humidity control options; simulation requirements. This report can be downloaded from: www.arti-21cr.org/research/completed/index.html.
