Summary

THE EXPERIMENTAL STUDY CONCERNS THE PRODUCTION AND EVALUATION OF SUPERCONDUCTING THICK FILMS PRODUCED BY SLICING THESE FILMS FROM A LARGE BULK SPECIMEN OF THIS CERAMICS. THE RESISTIVITY/TEMPERATURE BEHAVIOUR WAS FOUND TO BE EQUIVALENT TO, OR BETTER THAN, THE RESISTIVITY/TEMPERATURE BEHAVIOUR OF IDENTICALLY PREPARED BULK SPECIMENS MADE FROM THE SAME MATERIAL. PRACTICAL APPLICATIONS INVOLVING THE USE OF THIS TECHNIQUE ARE PROBABLY MOST LIKELY IN HYBRID MICROELECTRONIC DEVICES.
