Summary
In Sweden there has been compulsory testing and examination of ventilation systems since 1993. The criterion for passing the test is that the ventilation performance complies with the regulations that applied when the system was brought into operation. The article deals with systems in schools, offices and blocks of flats. Of the 526 systems evaluated, 34% passed the test.
