Experience from laboratory diagnosing of an experimental compressor unit.

Author(s) : OTA J., HÁSEK J.

Summary

The paper informs on some experience with the diagnostics of the compressor proper as well as of a compressor-based unit including the measurements of dynamic pressure variation in the discharge section of the system. The pulses and sonic waves are undesirable effects occurring in the pipelines. An analysis of the harmonic spectrum in the discharge line has been performed using Fourier transformation, among others as related to the measured movements of the valve plate. During the laboratory investigations, a dynamometer has been used for power input measurements, but a periodical recording by means of a wattmeter incorporated in the switchboard is also possible.
