Experiences on remote control of some air conditioning plants.
[In Italian. / En italien.]
Author(s) : CANNAVIELLO M., SANTORO G.
Type of article: Article
Summary
The article reports on energy savings obtained with direct digital control of four air-conditioning systems using absorption machines for cooling and heating. Direct digital control acts on two levels: intelligent control by means of complex algorithms, and remote control, which enables expert operators to interact with the controller on the basis of their skill and experience. Energy savings of the order of 35% are claimed, divided about equally between the two operation modes. E.F.
