Summary

A CO2-controlled ventilation system is described. It was installed in a 200 m2 multi-use room, and the offices and exhibition hall were equipped with conventional mechanical extraction, constant volume ventilation. Results of a six-month operating period are given: the system was highly sensitive to indoor disturbances, its response time was shorter than for temperature or enthalpy control. A minimum ventilation rate, extension of the integration time of the frequency changer and an override mode are required. The system has low energy consumption. Air quality has been assessed both by the administrators and occupants. J.L.
