Experimental analysis of the performance of a total heat recovery system.
Analisi sperimentale delle prestazioni di un sistema a recupero totale.
Author(s) : SCHIBUOLA L.
Type of article: Article, Case study
Summary
The analysis is performed by monitoring the building system's long-term behaviour. Some of the installed chillers offer total recovery of the heat ejected by the condenser. The results are very satisfactory both in terms of energy and economy. Testing takes advantage of the supervision apparatus already installed in the building and is thus an example of how the control system can be used for safety and management requirements as well as a detailed performance analysis allowing easy simulation of the effects of different design and control options.
