Summary
An experimental investigation on a single-stage pulse tube refrigerator operating below 20 K is undertaken. The influence of DC flow induced by he introduction of double-inlet on the refrigeration performance of the cooler is experimentally examined. With effective control of DC flow, 18.4 and 14.7 K minimum temperatures have been reached driven by RW2 and CP4000 compressor respectively, and 11.5 and 29.5 W cooling-power at 30 K are obtained.
