Summary
In this paper, the frequency dependency of regenerators with different matrix is investigated in system of loudspeaker-driven thermoacoustic resonator (TAR). Regenerators with different matrix coupled with same resonator present different frequency characteristics. A method for identification of the quality factor of regenerator in TAR system has been verified experimentally. It is demonstrated that the pin-array matrix has the best quality factor and the lowest dissipative performance.
