Experimental research on shallow coaxial tube groung-coupled heat exchangers of ground-source heat pump for heating in winter and cooling in summer.

Author(s) : HU M., DING Y., WEI T., et al.

Summary

The paper introduces the experimental components, the test apparatus and the test results of a shallow coaxial tube Ground-Source Heat Pump (GSHP) system (heating in winter and cooling in summer). The authors associated system energy balance method with thermal conduction equations to build the heat-exchange mathematical models for single coaxial tube, series coaxial tubes or tube group as underground heat exchanger. The results given with the model show relatively good agreements with field test measurements.
