Summary

CRYOSURGERY WAS PERFORMED ON DAY 6 AFTER A MRMT-1 TUMOUR INOCULATION AT THE THIGH OF 5-WEEK-OLD FEMALE SPRAGUE-DAWLY RATS. RESULTS: CYTOTOXIC ACTIVITY (CA) OF PERIPHERAL BLOOD LYMPHOCYTES WAS INCREASED ON DAY 6 AFTER TUMOUR INOCULATION. BUT IT WAS MARKEDLY DECREASED ON DAY 7 AFTER TUMOUR CRYOSURGERY, AND REINCREASED AT 3 AND 6 WEEKS. CA OF SPLEEN CELLS SHOWED THE HIGHEST VALUE ON DAY 6 AFTER TUMOUR INOCULATION AND GRADUALLY DECREASED AFTER CRYOSURGERY. CA OF THE TUMOUR-SIDE LUMBAR LYMPH-NODE LYMPHOCYTES INCREASED ON DAY 6 AFTER TUMOUR INOCULATION, AND SIGNIFICANTLY DECREASED 1 AND 3 WEEKS AFTER CRYOSURGERY.
