Summary
The first part of the article deals with the computational parameters of the frosting process of the researched object. The object is a horizontal copper square plate with sides of 140 mm and thickness of 3 mm, surrounded from one-side humid air which flows with the speed of 2 m/s. The calculation was carried out on the basis of the criterial equations drew up by Korean scholars. The results of the calculations were shown on the charts of temporary parameters: the average density and the thickness of accumulated frost, the temperature of the frost surface, the mass and mass flux as well as the accumulated frost mass, the effective conduction coefficient of frost. The process parameters were also shown: the exchanged of heat flux (summary and convective) as well as their quotient for different thermal and moisture conditions.
