Summary

THE WORKING THERMODYNAMICAL CONDITIONS HAVE BEEN EXPERIMENTALLY DETERMINED FOR CHEMICAL HEAT PUMPS BASED ON REACTION BETWEEN AMMONIA OR METHYLAMINE AND EARTH ALKALINE OR METALLIC CHLORIDES (HEPTANOL SUSPENSION OR SOLID BED). THE STORAGE CAPACITIES AND THE DELIVERED POWERS HAVE BEEN COMPARED. THE HIGH VALUE OF THE EXERGETIC EFFICIENCY OF SUCH SYSTEMS, WHICH ARE SUITED FOR BUILDING HEATING JUSTIFIES THEIR DEVELOPMENT PROCEEDING.
