Field evaluation of CO2 detector tubes for measuring outdoor air supply rate in the indoor environment.
Author(s) : NORBACK D., et al.
Type of article: Article
Summary
Describes the evaluation of three types of CO2 detector tubes, using Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy as a reference method. Two of them showed good correlation with the reference method. Concludes that CO2 detector tubes are not suitable for the determination of air recirculation in ventilation systems, except as a crude estimate. Notes factors to take into consideration with their use.
