Summary

This paper deals with the problem of air cleaning. Different filtering systems are used in ventilating systems, depending on required air purity. Usually they are multistage filtering systems. The topic of this paper is design and application of electrofilters and electrostatic precipitators used in technical devices. They are used in order to separate harmful and undesirable air pollutants. Among others, selectional and compact electrofilters and electrofilters with UV rays emitters are presented.
