Floor cooling.
Le rafraîchissement par le sol.
Author(s) : MICHEL E., ISOARDI J. P.
Summary
Floor cooling today is booming. Results from climatic-room tests show the influence of the various parameters: temperature and water flow rate, climatic load, air mixing, condensation (a refrigerating duty of 6 to 7 watts/m2.K). An installation in a hotel complex (1,600 m2) using a ground water boring as a cold source was used for a field study (ooling by about 5 K). A general survey of installations in France (about 110) and a visit to about 20 show the success and limits of this technique.
