SPECIAL ATTENTION IS ALSO GIVEN TO A NUMBER OF PROPERTIES OF THIS INSULATION MATERIAL LIKE: NON-FLAMMABILITY ; THE INFINITE VALUE OF THE VAPOUR DIFFUSION FACTOR ; THE SEALING OF THE SEAMS BETWEEN THE ELEMENTS ; AND THE LOW THERMAL EXPANSION WHICH MAKES IT POSSIBLE TO APPLY IT IN LAYERS ON PIPES, EVEN AT TEMPERATURES OF 243 AND 313 K (-30 AND 40 DEG C).
