HEAT TRANSFER COEFFICIENTS FROM EXPERIMENTS ON FLOW BOILING WITH R12 FOR A WIDE RANGE OF PRESSURE, MASS FLUX, HEAT FLUX AND FLOW QUALITY. THE EXPERIMENTAL RESULTS ARE COMPARED WITH 7 DIFFERENT CORRELATIONS GIVEN IN THE LITERATURE. BEST AGREEMENT IS FOUND FOR THE MODIFIED CHEN CORRELATION USING THEPOOL BOILING EQUATION BY GORENFLO AND THE SUPPRESSION FACTOR BY BENNETT ET AL.
