Fundamentals of exergy analysis.
[In Japanese. / En japonais.]
Author(s) : MATSUBARA Y.
Type of article: Article
Summary
The concept of exergy provides the basis for a useful method to find the main source of entropy generation. The paper describes the fundamentals of exergy analysis for cryocoolers or simple cryogenic systems. It includes the definition of exergy, exergy loss and thermodynamic efficiency of the system. Several examples of calculation methods for the simple cryogenic system are also given.
