Summary

The article presents a study performed on the control of air filtration in operating theatres. Investigation of filtration made it possible to identify problems and propose solutions. A system designed to control the rate of air recycling is proposed. In order to control this rate of recycling, the advantages of the fuzzy logic system (particularly the gradual nature and speed of setting up the system) led the author to use this approach. The fuzzy control system obtained was tested under laminar and steady state simulation conditions.
