THE AUTHORS EXAMINE A DOUBLE COMPRESSION AND DOUBLE EXPANSION REFRIGERATION CYCLE. THE REFRIGERATION COEFFICIENTS ARE COMPARED AND IT IS SHOWN THAT IN THE CASE OF COMPRESSION REFRIGERATION WHICH IS TYPICAL OF SCREW COMPRESSORS, THE PERCENTAGE INCREASE IN THE COEFFICIENT OF REFRIGERATION IS LOWER THAN THAT OF NON-REFRIGERATING COMPRESSION CIRCUITS.
