Geometrical research on twin compressor based on discretional initial angles of involute.

Summary
The geometrical model of twin-scroll compressors including scroll wraps, working chamber volume and leakage areas is set up based on discretional initial angles of involute. Expression of interaction section, diameter of cutter, position of the center of circle of cutter, discharge angle is obtained and found that they are all function of initial angles of involute. A new formula of working chamber volume during all the suction, compression and discharge processes based on discretional initial angles is derived. The expression of leakage area including radial and flank leakage is also obtained. By verification and calculation, all the equation gotten by this paper is proved to be correct and universal.
