Summary

There are three different non mandatory classifying systems for professional air conditioning and refrigeration qualifications in the United Kingdom, according to the British magazine RAC: REFCOM- applies to companies employing personnel able to handle and recover fluids, as part of the RIB (Refrigeration Industry Board). NVQs- applies to individual workers according to their speciality, within the organization of refrigeration industry. HVCA: a system which is being discussed with RIB, is meant for contractors, including installation and welding engineers, etc. Y.G.
